For theses pops, you want to use mega-stuffed Oreos, they have more "cream" in them, so it is easier to place the stick in them. Speaking of sticks, you can puck up these cake pop stems at any craft store, and possibly in the baking section of your grocer. For the chocolate I used white chocolate melts, but you could use chocolate chips.
This is a bad picture, but I just wanted to show that I use a piece of wax paper to set the pops on to dry, and that this formation, of putting each pop the opposite way saves space.
Now that you have your sticks stuck in, its time to melt the chocolate. Melt according to chocolate melt instructions, but the basic guidelines are to melt at 50% power in 30 second intervals, mixing in between. Once the chocolate is almost melted, stop heating and let the heat of the cup melt it the rest of the way.
Dip the pops, and place on wax paper, once you get about 6 pops done, it's time to do the sprinkles before the chocolate gets too hard.
Then let them cool, and enjoy!

Lemons: sweet, bright, happy little summertime fruit. It's funny that they got connected as a negative in such a well known idiom as "when life hands you lemons, make lemonade". I suppose it is referring to lemon's puckering sourness, but in my opinion lemons do not deserve such a bad rap!
Well when life handed me lemons recently, instead of lemonade (which Warren covered earlier this week), I made dutch babies, and topped them with a squeeze of organic lemon juice, and it was delicious! Dutch babies are great because they seem so fancy and special, but are really easy to make. That's my jam- fancy stuff that seems so Martha Stewart, but in reality is totally makable by any Joe Schmoe. I am a Joe Schmoe.

Continuing on with our theme of making something delicious when life gives you lemons, I have a tasty lemon recipe for you as well. Since my last post, I haven't had too many "lemons" in life, but things are definitely busy. I got a new kitten who loves to be around her people. Every morning when I leave her sleepy little face, I feel my heart breaking. The first thing I do what I get home is yell, "where's my Stella!" It's hard to find time to cook with all of these animals to love!
My recipe for you today are some yummy little morsels. They are chicken breast nuggets marinated in a mixture of lemon juice, thyme, and black pepper. You can serve them with your favorite vegetable on the side, dip them in a scrumptious scrumptious scrumptious, or put them on bread to make a sandwich. I wanted to make something simple but satisfying, and I think you will enjoy them if you try making them yourself.

Hello foodie friends, it has been too long. It's not been a fun time had, but we're ready to get back into the swing of things. To get it kicked off we thought, what better way than with lemon themed recipes?! You know the saying, "When life gives you lemons . . ." and life has definitely been throwing them our way. However, I think we've turned them into some really tasty things.
