Broiled Grapefruit with Honey and Salt

Grapefruits are a delightfully tangy citrus fruit.  I used to just slice them up and eat them all the time!  So much citrus got to be too much for me.  I loved them but they no longer loved me.  The other day I was missing my sweet ruby friend and decided that maybe broiling with honey might help with the intensity.  It sure did!  I can now enjoy grapefruit again and the salt makes them even sweeter.  

  • A grapefruit
  • Honey
  • Salt
  1. Slice grapefruit in half and then into wedges.
  2. Drizzle each wedge with honey.
  3. Broil for 10 mins, two inches from heat.  I used my toaster oven.
  4. Remove from pan and add salt.
  5. Enjoy!

Really easy and really delightful!
